INTRODUCING DIS-OES

In modern-day USA, regular web board posters to a popular board (the DISboards) suddenly discover they have extraordinary abilities following a 48-hour board maintenance outage. A young WPASADI cheerleader, Blair Bonnet, discovers that she can instantly repair computers, even after smashing them. Her adoptive father, Mr. Bonnet—known as “Ray-bans” due to his distinctive style of ever-present sunglasses—is a mysterious presence. A gifted artist, Ike, whose DIS addiction is destroying his life, finds that his posts predict the future. While visiting Tokyo Disney, Dyso Kanaworma discovers that he can manipulate time and space. A young single mother, Viki Landers suddenly develops a mysterious second screen personality, while her son, Pica, demonstrates a new-found ability to reverse error messages, recover lost posts and correct misspellings.

Webmaster Pete, the lone surviving webmaster after the others went missing during the maintenance shutdown has inexplicably managed to turn all of his moderators into celebrities. Pete finds himself embroiled in a battle to save the DISboards as the evil Alklutz of the competing message boards, Ratpage.com, seeks to absorb the new powers of these everyday posters in his quest to destroy the DISboards.
